Motor Capture Handler
The Role:

We are looking for motivated individuals with excellent customer service skills to work on our Motor claims department.

Being the contact for all parties following an incident we are looking for a calm, empathetic and reassuring manner to guide the caller through the claim details and be able to sell the benefits of using our services to third parties.

You will be expected to gather all the accident information that is available, offer claim services to third parties, overcoming objections raised. It is essential that we ensure the customer is clear on the claims process and their expectations are managed right from the outset.

However, we will ensure that you have the relevant training to do the job and ensure that any questions and support you need whilst in this role are fulfilled.

You can expect a structured approach to career progression whereby you can move towards career aspiration by working towards new roles within Motor as well as the wider business.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable, pro-active, positive thinking to join our team to help drive forward our processes and performance for our clients. If you are someone who enjoys responsibility, who is looking for a long term career, who can work individually but also as part of a team and can also deliver excellent service delivery for our customers then this is a role for you.

Claims can range from third party Liability through to Personal Injury and Total Loss, but we`ll give you the training and knowhow to identify the nature of each claim, how to gain as much detail as possible from the claimants and the best course of action to take for our valued customers and clients alike. The role will be at an entry level, so you may have had a taste of handling claims or a healthily appetite to progress your career within this field.

It`s likely you`ll have held a role involving exceptional Customer Service delivery and have previous office experience. If you`re ready to take the next step into motor claims handling then we can also offer you progression in handling the more complex motor claims to further your career, as well as a warm and friendly working environment and insurance exam support.

You will have/will be:
  • Good level of education – at least to GCSE level or equivalent
  • Sales experience is advantageous
  • Exceptional customer service skills to enable you to deal with Clients, Brokers and Policyholders
  • A positive and pro-active attitude to exceeding client and customer expectations
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral
  • Accurate keyboard skills
  • IT literacy
