Property / Office: Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London
Location: London, United Kingdom
Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park is London’s most iconic address. The spirit of the city infuses every floor. The park’s green vastness rolls beyond bedroom windows. Renowned guests frequent the hotels’ bars and restaurants.
It’s another world. A world of oriental luxury and the most attentive service. A world that’s all about our guests.
It’s also a world that’s been reinvented and reimagined to move with the times. With a heart of London’s heritage and an eye to the future, we use our own sense of history to set new standards – through kind, passionate and generous service.
We love perfectionists, and we’re looking for more to join us as a Night Valet Assistant.
To do this job well, you’ll be a details person: someone who notices a stain on a shirt and takes a second to spot a hem that needs fixing.
Beyond an eye for detail, this role calls for a thoughtful nature: our best valet assistants are those who look for ways to please our guests, sometimes in unexpected ways.
In return for your perfectionism, you’ll learn from our most seasoned colleagues, and work with exceptional people (think expert engineers on call), the latest technology (think iPads), and the finest products (think 300 thread count Egyptian cotton).
About the role
As a Night valet assistant, you’ll be responsible for carrying out guest requests to the highest standard: whether it be shoe shining, shirt pressing, repairing, measuring, alterations, no two days are the same in our Valet department. You’ll also be responsible for ensuring colleague uniforms are kept in good condition and provide a professional image to our guests at all times.
In return, you will receive an array of iconic benefits, such as:
- Excellent career progression with an iconic, luxury, global hotel brand. A lot of our colleagues joined us in junior roles (think room attendants, receptionists etc. etc.) and are now leading their own teams and divisions.
- Fantastic learning and development opportunities for all levels of staff, with targeted development programs to get you ready for the next step in your career.
- 3 complimentary nights per year, increasing to 5 with length of service
- Discounted stays at our beautiful properties across the Group
- Access to discounts and deals with over 500 popular high street retailers, including discounted gym memberships and travel deals
- 50% F&B & Spa discount
