Support Workers/Relief Support Workers – Driffield - FEMALE ONLY
£11.05 per hour (including a weekend enhancement of £12.05 per hour)
We are currently seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join us. You will be located at our lovely service Brookside which is located in Driffield. As a Support Worker, you will provide care and support to individuals with various needs, helping them to live as independently as possible.
Alongside this, you will also find yourself getting involved in some of the amazing and exciting activities our individuals love doing. We are always looking for different experiences for the individuals we support so they live extraordinary lives filled with opportunities.
Due to the nature of this post, Schedule 9, Part 1 of the Equality Act 2010 applies. Therefore, we can only accept female applicants for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with meal preparation and medication management
- Support individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
- Accompany individuals to appointments and community activities
- Monitor and report any changes in physical or mental health to appropriate staff members
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of care provided
- Provide personal care to individuals, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
Requirements:
- A compassionate and caring nature
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A willingness to undergo relevant training and development
